“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” (1 Peter 1:3-5).

This relates to the promise of the Father for us. We remember the word of Jesus when He said “If YE THEN, BEING EVIL, KNOW HOW TO GIVE GOOD GIFTS UNTO YOUR CHILDREN: how much more shall your heavenly Father…”(Luke 11:13). This was made by Jesus to us that if our earthly father will not give us that which is evil how much more Him.

Every member of a family is entitled to an inheritance and if so be that we are children of God, it means that God has inheritance for His children and this inheritance is incorruptible and does not pass away. The inheritance we receive here on earth are corruptible and they will pass away. They will fade away and they can not even be preserved forever. We have been called to an INHERITANCE INCORRUPTIBLE, and UNDEFILED, and THAT FADETH NOT AWAY, RESERVED in heaven for YOU, Who are KEPT by the POWER OF GOD through faith unto salvation ready to be REVEALED IN THE LAST TIME.” You can see what the Lord is giving us.

Lets see together what Paul said to Titus. “In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;” (Titus 1:2). Glory! We see that great hope which God WHO CAN NOT LIE promised us. They are reserved by the power of God! The inheritance believers have is eternal inheritance, what the Father promised is incorruptible. Beloved it may not yet appear what we shall be but when He shall come we shall be like Him, Halleluyah! The word of God calls God our life, that is we have no other life but His! That’s inheritance! God can not be corrupted! Glory! When time.” (1 Peter 1:3-5).Looking at our topic today we shall see of the great of the great promise the Father hath for us. We remember the word of Jesus when He said “If YE THEN, BEING EVIL, KNOW HOW TO GIVE GOOD GIFTS UNTO YOUR CHILDREN: how much more shall your heavenly Father…”(Luke 11:13). This was made Jesus to us that if our earthly father will not give us that which is evil how much more Him.”That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” (Hebrews 6:12). Give Him praise.
