Ecclesiastes 8:3 KJV

Be not hasty to go out of his sight: stand not in an evil thing; for he doeth whatsoever pleaseth him.
Still on the subject matter of haste. The preacher admonishes us not to be hasty to go out of the presence of God. The presence of God is not limited to an organised service or a prayer session. The presence of God is;
1. You having a sweet communion with the Lord in place of prayer and studying of His word.
2. Him being with you always, and you being a carrier of His presence.
Jesus operated in these dimensions. He was always in continued fellowship with the Father, and He is never separated from His Father. He said, “I and the Father are one.” Many of us have not learnt to abide in His presence. Note that the Psalmist said, “he that dwells in the secret place of the most high, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” It’s not a place to visit and leave, it ought to be our dwelling place.
One of the things that takes us out of his presence is meddling with evil. His eyes are pure and cannot behold or stand iniquity, therefore, every time we join ourselves to evil, we depart from that sweet presence. Hence, the scripture said, “stand not in an evil thing.” For in we taking position in evil thing, we depart from His presence. Savour His presence, and abide in His presence.
God bless you.
