IDENTIFYING WITH THE MAN ON THE CROSS.

The cross of Christ must not be taken aside from our faith. It does not matter what people see or say about the cross. Our focus and believe on the cross of Christ has a lot to do with our faith in Him and what He has done. We need to understand that Christ was not the only one that went to the cross. We went with Him. Our identification with Him therefore lies in our victory to death and the wicked one.

Paul said that something that all of us must put in with.

Galatians 2:20 I AM CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

He identified with the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus. Our faith is founded on identifying with the cross of Christ. Our lives are expected to be patterned towards the cross of Christ. That’s why believers do not die, they sleep. The Lord Christ is coming to raise man back to life. He has conquered death in His body and while He did. We did too.

To be identified with the cross of Jesus is to be identified with what He did for us. When people see the cross they pass by it and say it is meant for sinners. The cross is the punishment of sin. When Jesus was hanged on the cross, our sins was laid on Him. The cross of Christ represents the end of the sin and the rising into the righteousness of God. The cross of Jesus means the replacement of the sin of man for him to become the Son of God that was hanged on the tree. The cross of Christ was an exchange of death for life. It’s an exchange of sin for righteousness. The cross of Jesus was an exchange of man into the fullness of the person of Christ. The cross of Jesus represents the state at which man was conquered to become more than a conqueror. The cross made provision for our entrance into the Godhead.

You identify with the cross of Jesus by making Him to be the Lord of your life. You identify with His cross by boldly receiving all that the cross brought. You identify with the cross by seeing the man on the cross and to be transformed to the man of the throne. He was placed by men on the cross a sinner but was raised by the operation of God a man of the throne. He was taken from the position of slaughter to take the position of the Man at the right hand of God. So when we identify with the cross of Christ. We come into the provision of the cross. We can’t leave out the cross and walk our way. It’s our path into Sonship. Paul speaking

2 Corinthians 4:10 ALWAYS BEARING ABOUT IN THE BODY THE DYING OF THE LORD JESUS, THAT THE LIFE ALSO OF JESUS MIGHT BE MADE MANIFEST IN OUR BODY.

4:11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, THAT THE LIFE ALSO OF JESUS MIGHT BE MADE MANIFEST IN OUR MORTAL FLESH.

I love this scripture it must become a reality in me. To bear about or to have the consciousness of the dying of Christ so that His life might be made manifest in me. That’s deep! The bearing of the cross of Jesus in mind and living for it makes the life of Christ be made manifest in our bodies. This tells that the life of Jesus can become manifest in our bodies. It can also be seen in our mortal flesh. Men will see the life of Christ and not be able to deny it. Identifying with the cross brings to our body the reality of Christ for all to see. We need to be identified with the cross of Christ. His cross also represents our victory over sin and the access into the throne of God.
Identify with the cross today and receive the provisions of God.
