THE KNOWING THAT GIVES REST IN THE PLACE OF PRAYERS.
You can’t go beyond the measure of what you know. Just a knowing can keep your heart. Of course, knowing in revelation to His Word.
What do you know? Knowing forms a strong foundation in a heart that nothing can shake. Knowing forms a strong bond in the heart that help the course of the heart. The highest form of knowing is to know the Lord.
Jeremiah 9:24 But let HIM THAT GLORIETH glory in this, that he UNDERSTANDETH AND KNOWETH ME, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.
That’s the highest form of knowing. To understand and to know the Lord. Our walk with God is to further us into God and fellowship with Him. Even God said He knows Abraham.
Genesis 18:17 And the LORD said, SHALL I HIDE from Abraham that thing which I do;
18:18 SEEING THAT Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
18:19 FOR I KNOW HIM, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
I long for such as this. For the Lord to know me, for this or that, I know him. What a man knows therefore keeps his heart and helps his mind towards the Lord. Knowing keeps you under focus, such that will not push you away from focus.
1. When you want to pray, know that God has your ears.
Psalms 65:2 O thou that HEAREST prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.
When praying, ensure you have this in your mind, you can always says this when you want to pray. O God that hearest prayer, unto You do I come! It will make you aware that God have your ears. It energizes your faith and brings God in.
2. Know by having the consciousness that His ears are opened and not closed.
1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and HIS EARS ARE OPEN UNTO THEIR PRAYERS: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
Are you righteous? Then rejoice, He has your ears and they are opened to your prayers. That’s the first entrance. God’s ears are opened to your prayers. Always have this in mind when you want to pray. It will help you.
3. Know that He has answered your prayers twice.
Isaiah 65:24 I will ANSWER them BEFORE they EVEN CALL to me.
While they are STILL TALKING about their needs,
I will go ahead and ANSWER THEIR PRAYERS! (NLT)
God gives answers to every of our prayer requests twice. Each time we pray, that’s what happens. It says even before we call on Him, He will answer. You will ask how did He know? I’ll show you!
1 Samuel 2:3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a GOD OF KNOWLEDGE, AND BY HIM ACTIONS ARE WEIGHED.
Hebrews 4:12 For the WORD OF GOD is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, AND IS A DISCERNER OF THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART.
You may say, since He knows my thought, or that even before I pray He will answer me then there is no need to pray again. Well, see that scripture well, it all end when you make the request known to God. That it. But I perceive the Lord will answer you, even with that thought of request in your heart even if you have not asked, I want to believe when you have a fellowship with Him, so that when He do it, you’ll say “how did you know Lord?” I guess He will say, to you “I said in my word that I will answer even before they ask” yet this does not mean you should go on this way. You must understand that the essence of praying is not purposely to fill up our needs but for a relationship. Not even a relationship so to ask but a relationship for understanding and knowing Him.
4. Knowing the peace of God after you pray.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
I can tell a little of this peace, especially when you did not see the request come immediately maybe as you expected. Every request has it time, just as every seed as it season. Praying to God grants the heart the grace to know the peace of God in prayers. It keeps your heart even when you don’t have the request at hand. It’s a peace that assures of the answer already.
5. Confidence in Him comes through knowing and it brings the reality of every request.
1 John 5:14 And this is the CONFIDENCE that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we KNOW THAT WE HAVE THE PETITIONS THAT WE DESIRED OF HIM.
For confidence in a thing that you are sure will work, you can commit your whole life to it. Confidence in the word of God that He ears and answers prayer can keep a heart to know her has his request. First thing first is to pray. Confidence grant the heart access to believe and to receive answers to prayers. We can’t pray to God without having confidence in Him. We see three knowings here, which are: knowing confidence, knowing of His hearing, knowing that we have our petition because He heard us. Can we have this in mind when we pray for unbelievers to be saved, a desire and hunger for God, a need to see the face of the Lord, a need to press into the deeper things of God, a need to have more revelation of His Word in our lives, a need to walk with God, a need to see the will of God come to pass in the face of the earth, a need for believers to arise to prayers, a need to come into harvest, a need to have visitations of heaven, a need for the need of God, a need for a job, a need for a husband or wife, a need for a child, a need for a house, a need for a car etc. God has a need.
