RIGHTEOUSNESS WORKS BY A HEART THAT BELIEVES.

Believing the Lord can be so difficult at times, but it is very safe to believe the Lord. We are humans and therefore we tend to respond to what we see. We are moved by sight. The first phase of our coming into God is believe.

Romans  10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt BELIEVE IN THINE HEART that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Believing always works with our heart. We can’t believe God outside this. That’s why we don’t walk by sight but by believe or faith in God.

The scripture above moves further on our first phase in Christ by saying

Romans  10:10 FOR WITH THE HEART MAN BELIEVETH UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

This is very elementary but it’s never out of place in our walk with God. That’s with the heart man believe and even the confession of the mouth never stops here. We must confess what’s ours in the Kingdom but this does not push away our responsibility from us so to walk. This basic insight on our Heart and Mouth are put together because they are means at which we speak. They are often too related.

Psalms  19:14  Let the WORDS OF MY MOUTH, AND THE MEDITATION OF MY HEART, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalms  49:3  MY MOUTH SHALL SPEAK OF WISDOM; and the MEDITATION OF MY HEART shall be of understanding.

Proverbs  15:28  THE HEART OF THE RIGHTEOUS studieth to answer: but the MOUTH of the wicked poureth out evil things. (You note the word heart and righteous)

Proverbs  16:23  The HEART of the wise teacheth his MOUTH, and addeth learning to his lips.

Some words are not utter with the mouth but done in the heart. And God sees the heart.

1 Samuel  2:3 Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: FOR THE LORD IS A GOD OF KNOWLEDGE, AND BY HIM ACTIONS ARE WEIGHED.

1 Samuel  16:7 …for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but THE LORD LOOKETH ON THE HEART.

So we see that God knows the heart. The mouth and the heart utters speech. One is more vocal. But really the heart is more vocal, we may not agree but is true.

The heart is the center of believe. Our believe in God is very important. With heart we believe unto righteousness. The heart is the means that brings us into righteousness. Righteousness is obtained when the heart believes. Any body that believes in his heart the Lord Jesus is made righteous. Believing is staying on what is true no matter how it affect our knowledge. Knowledge has so much murdered our believe. That’s why righteousness is lacking today. When believe is murdered in the heart, righteousness is murdered to reign in the life of man. We receive grace to believe You Lord with our hearts.

It was said of Abraham that he believed God and it was counted unto him for righteousness. I tell you, when the heart is strengthened to believe righteousness will reign on the earth. Righteousness is lost among us because the rate of believing in the heart is low. We must be like Abraham and walk in his steps.

Romans  4:3 For what saith the scripture? ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS COUNTED UNTO HIM FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

This is because he did believe God with his heart, with his whole heart. Believing the Lord is not confessing that we are believing the Lord in our heart and doing another thing in our  action or in our mouth. What we believe must be professed in our heart and the utterance of our mouth must align  with our heart. And it can be well said by saying. When we believe God with our hearts, our actions must follow or agree with what we believe.

CONCLUSION.
HOW DO WE EVEN BELIEVE GOD?

By responding to his word. When God says to say a thing, our response must be yes Lord and do it! The response of soldiers to every command is yes sir! We are soldiers of Christ. We think of risk a lot than we think of believing God. Soldiers don’t know what’s called risk, that’s what they live for. We think it out so much that we leave out to act upon  what the Lord said. When Abraham was told to give Isaac as an offering, he never said a word, rather his action spoke immediately that he agree. We must receive the dealing of the Lord to a point whereby there is nothing we can not let go or respond to when He request such of us. We must receive the dealing of the Lord to a point where by our actions will tell that we have come of age or mature in the processes that God has taken us through by acting on what He says without asking a question from the Lord. In fact not questioning Him but just responding to what is says in our heart, which quicken us to act on  what He says is what brings righteousness. Do you know we can keep adding up to our righteousness. By keep believing the Lord in our hearts and responding to Him. This word will bring profit to us when we act upon what the Lord said to us. I love Ezekiel, when he was taken to the valley of dry bones he never questioned God. He rather agree with God. Our response to God must show that we are learning of Him. Our response and acting on His Word tells how much we believe God. Fellowship with God is what birth our believe. Our believe in Him makes us fearless thereby acting on whatever He says. This is what brings righteousness. God bless you.
