This is one thing everyone desire in the place of prayer. We will like that all our prayer request and what we desire be answered by God. Now let’s look together into what it requires to get what you will in the place of prayer and it been given to you. We must know that God does not joke with His Word. Once I see a place in the word that address my life I just adjust myself into it.

John  15:4 ABIDE IN ME, AND I IN YOU. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

There must be a union between you and Christ and you make the first move of abiding in Him so He comes to you. God respond to a heart that is committed to come to Him. A heart that makes the first move. But really He has first made the first move to us, by dying for us on the cross, not that we love Him but that He first loved us. So we make the first move. This union makes us to come to Him. No man runs from who he is in union with, they always draw near and love to meet each other.

James 4:8 DRAW NEAR TO GOD AND HE WILL DRAW  NEAR TO YOU. Cleanse your hands,  you sinners; and  purify your hearts,  you double-minded. (NKJV)

We make the first move then He comes to us. And really He has bid us to come.

Matthew  11:28  COME UNTO ME, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

When we come to Him with a pure heart He does not cast us out. No!

John  6:37  ALL THAT THE FATHER GIVETH ME SHALL COME TO ME; and him that COMETH TO ME I will in no wise CAST OUT.

So we have established the fact that we need to first come to the Lord and He will come to us.

John  15:7 IF YE ABIDE IN ME…

It comes with a condition of if, so if we abide in Him… We must learn to abide in Him, stay in Him and fellowship with Him. Prayer is strengthened always by the word. You know the word by fellowshipping with the word and this birth prayers. You must abide in Him by staying with Him in the spirit, by engaging your heart with the Lord. You abide with God because you have a fellowship and a union with the Father. This could keep you to stay long enough with Him. Fellowship is best enjoyed when there is communication. Communication is a oil that keeps the lovers alive. Fellowship is best enjoyed when parties involved learn to abide with one another. The reason we first abide in Him is to show our commitment of coming to Him. Rev Ken said “Your coming will determine your earning” there is always a gain in every abiding. When  you come to God it helps what you will earn from Him. Abiding in Him is like staying rooted enough with Him, being soaked with the power of His Word and presence. At this state exchange of words are done and this many times keep the fellowship longer than you think. This is what it takes to abide with Him to spend deep time with Him.

One thing that keeps lovers is words. Lovers don’t leave each other without a word. Even their silent speaks a word. The word of God must be that which always push us. The word of God abiding in us will teach us wisdom to ask for what we will.

Colossians  3:16  LET THE WORD OF CHRIST DWELL IN YOU RICHLY IN ALL WISDOM; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

The word of God abiding in us will begin to instruct us, purge us of every carnal thoughts and request that will chase us out of the will of God. It allows the will of God  to permeate our hearts that we will so learn wisdom of how to ask, then our asking will be surrounded by the revelation of His Word that is abiding in us. The word becomes a light that direct our spirit to what to ask by the Spirit of God. The word of God has connection to wisdom. I perceive that we will be made wise in the place of prayers  by the studying and the receiving of the word.

Proverbs  2:1 My son, IF THOU WILT RECEIVE MY WORDS, and hide my commandments with thee;

2:2 So that thou INCLINE THINE EAR UNTO WISDOM, and apply thine heart to understanding;

We see again how the word of God can help sharpen our wisdom, and how to ask always the will of God even while we ask our will.

2 Timothy  3:15  And that from a child thou hast KNOWN THE HOLY SCRIPTURES, WHICH ARE ABLE TO MAKE THEE WISE unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

We are not been made wise by reading too many books. We are been made wise with the word of God. The word is best known by spending time with it. When we allow the word into our spirit and as our spirit pray we begin to pray the mind of the Lord and in our spirit we begin to see that the request in our spirit is been turned to the will of the Lord. God does not turn away from what He said. The best way to pick God is to speak His will to Him. Every man is always interested or have their attention cut to what they say and God is not left out in this. We can make request and they are answered swiftly. What we just need to do when we make request is to believe.

Mark  11:24  Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, BELIEVE THAT YE RECEIVE THEM, and ye shall have them.

John  15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Remember you must have a union with Him and also abide in Him by spending time with Him not because you have a request alone but let it be a life you live. So when we do this we can then ask what we will and it then will be given. It will be given because we have allowed the tutelage of the word of God to teach and direct us in wisdom the will of the Lord even to ask in the place of prayer. By this we will never ask amiss. Keep walking…
