Man was created to respond to His environment. There is a way that what we hear is connected to how we walk. It forms a walking for us. Even a baby when he begins to walk little by little, and you call the baby’s name and said to come, the baby respond to what he hears and then begin to walk. What we ear forms a walk for us. Whether you hear what is that good or what is not good, a walk is developed.

We all become effective by what we hear and what we hear form in us a heart to walk. Listen, this also affect a man that hears what is that evil. We become what we hear by volume of hearings. It becomes so ineffective when we do not learn to put to work what we hear. The heart formed in our hearing push us to come into what we hear. The hearing of the word of faith must push us to a walk. Walk means to give a response.

Romans 10:17  So then faith COMETH BY HEARING, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith comes to us as we open our heart to the hearing of the word of God.

Proverbs  2:1 My son, if thou wilt RECEIVE MY WORDS, and hide my commandments with thee;  2:2 So that thou INCLINE THINE EAR UNTO WISDOM AND APPLY THINE HEART TO UNDERSTANDING;

We must incline our heart, give attention and also apply our heart to do what we hear.
What must push us to walk is what we hear. You notice when people hear of danger in a place, a lot will speak to their leg. The faith word we hear speaks to our spiritual leg to walk. That’s our heart pushing us to walk.

The word of the Lord came to Joshua and it was not just for him to hear but there is a place of His doing.

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, THAT THOU MAYEST OBSERVE TO DO ACCORDING TO ALL THAT IS WRITTEN THEREIN: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Our prosperity therefore comes by the measure of our obedience to the word of God. And we Obey the word of God because for our lives the word of God is right.

Psalms 33:4 FOR THE WORD OF THE LORD IS RIGHT; and all his works are done in truth.

Now you will understand why some things that we hear may cause some of us to respond for what is not.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some SHALL DEPART FROM THE FAITH, GIVING HEED TO SEDUCING SPIRITS, AND DOCTRINES OF DEVILS;

You see, what a man hears forms a walk for him. The word says some shall depart, that’s to walk away from the faith because they have giving their hears and attention to seducing spirit and doctrine of the devil. What you hear forms an image in your heart. Every word you hear forms and image. This images becomes more real to you by volumes of hearing of such word. Even in some homes you could tell what a child is or has been hearing through his life style. We must not become a child that hears always but is not responsible for what he hears. No man will love such a child.

2 Timothy  3:7 EVER LEARNING, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Some could be lazy, hearing upon hearings and never doing anything with it. Their feet has been strengthened to walk by the words they hear but they are not ready to walk. What we learn is expected to bring us to come to the knowledge of truth. You see, our hearing of the word of God is expected to push us to a walk. We won’t appreciate this verse except we check what has happened in the previous verses. Then you’ll know that these ones has not given themselves to truth and set to obey the truth so that they can come to the knowledge of the truth. There is a place of hearing the truth and there is time when we always do what we hear. Responding to what we hear is our responsibility. Even a baby when he notice he could walk and you call the baby to come, he just lift his legs  and dare to come even with a smile. We must dare to come to the knowledge of the truth of the word of God. We must become people that walk in truth always rejoicing with a smile. Even as we allow truth to form image in our heart we must dare to obey the truth. Our arrival to the truth we hear is to walk by coming to what we hear. I know this days men will appreciate darkness more than light but as children of light we must appreciate and give more attention to the word of God and be ready to respond do it. Our lives are preserved by walking in the truth we hear. This season the Lord will strengthen our feeble knees even as we give heed to the truth of His Word.

Psalms  86:11  Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

We must crave to be taught of the Lord and also desire to walk in what we crave for. Our lives becomes better when we walk in the truth that is coming to us. The teaching that the Lord is exposing us to are the teachings that are good.

Psalms 143:8  CAUSE ME TO HEAR thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: CAUSE ME TO KNOW THE WAY WHEREIN I SHOULD WALK; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

We must desire to hear the sayings of the Lord and put our feet to walk therein. Our feet become stronger as we walk. When we become diligent walkers of truth our souls will respond better along with our spirit.
When we hear the truth, we must pray for grace to understand and walk in the truth. We don’t grow simply by what we hear, we grow by what we walk in through what we have heard. If a baby grows by just feeding him and grows fat and big but has never walked before, it becomes a challenge. What you feed the baby with within provides strength for the baby to walk then as the baby learn to walk his feet becomes stronger. You’ll notice that the baby that walks more becomes stronger than the baby that just walk or did not work. They may be of the same age, but the baby that gives more heed to walking or when the parents stretched him to walk and get him some toys or wood walking cars to push, such a child becomes stronger in his walk. So as we walk we become stronger in our walk. The reason we have not developed in some things is because we have not given more attention to walking in them, so as we walk in them we become more stronger in the truth. Paul speaking to Timothy he said

1 Timothy  4:14  NEGLECT NOT THE GIFT THAT IS IN THEE, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

That’s to say not to leave it, put it to work. What you put to walk becomes yours and more secret of such unfold by keep walking in it.

Even in any handiwork when you give more attention to it you become more skilful in it. That’s why a boss that allows his boy that works with him do more of the work will soon have that boy better and preferred than him. These walk of faith becomes effective by reason of use.

Hebrews  5:14  But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by REASON OF USE have their SENSES EXERCISED to discern both good and evil.

As we walk our spiritual senses are exercised. Exercise is a good thing to the body, it provides strength and sound health. So also exercising ourselves in the truth builds in us more grace to walk. So as we give attention to hearing of the word, let’s also give attention to the walking of our faith. We learn more secrets to what we give our attention to, don’t forget that. So then I say keep walking…
