REJOICE ALWAYS IN THE LORD

Some things we fear in life do not worth it, God is able to take care of every fear in our hearts, if only we can allow the Lord. Money should not be the most thing that brings smile to our faces, the joy of the Lord should. Challenges are common to all but how we handle it is what matters. We are strong by how we handle His Word. As the people of God, and the ones that are made righteous in Him, we are always meant to rejoice.

Psalms  33:1 REJOICE IN THE LORD, O YE RIGHTEOUS: for praise is comely for the upright.

It is ours to rejoice in the Lord. I remember teaching a young girl this Psalms and by the help of the Lord, I sang it for her so that she could put it to heart. Anytime I open to this place I always remember it. The people that are to rejoice are the righteous. Are you righteous? Then rejoice over that situation and that phase of life you’re in!

Psalms  32:11 BE GLAD IN THE LORD, AND REJOICE, YE RIGHTEOUS: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

You see again, to glad and rejoice, not to be sad but to be glad  in the Lord and rejoice. And also to shout for joy. I tell you we must receive grace to do this. You may say is this right? Yes it is! Because it is the word of the Lord and the word say so.

Psalms  33:4 FOR THE WORD OF THE LORD IS RIGHT; and all his works are done in truth.

So you see, we must rejoice. We have no choice but to rejoice.

Psalms  97:12 REJOICE IN THE LORD, YE RIGHTEOUS; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

You’ll observe that this words are talking to righteous people. Not the world, but those who are of God. To rejoice in the Lord. This is the provision of God to us, to always rejoice! Our challenges are not meant to overcome us. We overcome them but faith. Rejoice is not of doubt. It is also faith in the word because the word says to rejoice.

Psalms  64:10 THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL BE GLAD IN THE LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

Again we see this is to the righteous, and shall trust in Him. The Lord made no provision for us to be sad in any way, no matter what we face.

Psalms  68:3 BUT LET THE RIGHTEOUS BE GLAD; LET THEM REJOICE BEFORE GOD: yea, let them EXCEEDINGLY REJOICE.

not just rejoice but to exceeding rejoice. This, David knew that it’s not easy to rejoice but we must rejoice and exceedingly rejoice.

God is assuring our hearts with His Word and happy are we when we stay on his word.

We can rejoice in any sorrow we find ourselves, or anything that may want to bring sorrow or seem sorrowful in our lives. All is not meant to be all fine, yes they can. But there are days that must come so that we can put our faith to work.

2 Corinthians  6:10 AS SORROWFUL, YET ALWAY REJOICING; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

See the state of a man’s heart in the Lord. Not as sorrowful but crying. Is not that God does not know you’re afflicted or in a sorrow. The Lord will actually come for you.

Psalms  34:19  MANY ARE THE AFFLICTIONS OF THE RIGHTEOUS: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

Not few but many are the affliction of the righteous, it is specified. The assurance of being righteous should make us rejoice because of His promise that the Lord delivers him out of them all, that is from the many afflictions. So rejoice. Many times we are even in some situations and it looks as though you’re the only one, you prayed and is like God is not responding because the situation has not changed. What we need is an eye of faith and a heart of faith. A heart of faith that rejoices. Even blessed is he that do not see but yet believe. Even that God is working or on his side. We must learn to rejoice according to His word always.

Philippians  4:4 Rejoice in the Lord ALWAY: and AGAIN I say, Rejoice.

This is Paul speaking by the spirit of God. Remember he said as sorrowful yet rejoicing. Our heart must be found rejoicing in the Lord always.

CONCLUSION
This is a choice as some may say, but truly the word of God is right(Psalms 33:4) and it has said to us to rejoice in the Lord because we are righteous. Righteousness is what is found in the kingdom of God.

Romans  14:17  For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; BUT RIGHTEOUSNESS, and PEACE, and JOY IN THE HOLY GHOST.

God is able on that situation. God’s promise to us must override all our circumstances. Learn to rejoice today and also to rejoice always and evermore no matter what.

1 Thessalonians  5:16 Rejoice evermore.

Receive grace to always rejoice. Keep walking…
