We must rejoice at His love for man and being chosen from the beginning. We must also rejoice in that He died for man. We must also rejoice that He resurrected for man and also that He is sited with the Father. He did all of this not in our absence but also in our presence and we did it at the same time with Him. That’s the profession of our faith in Christ Jesus. I believe one of the reasons we died with Him was to end the life of sin in man, and been raised with Him was to quicken us into life, the life of God. And the reason  we sat with Him at the right hand of the Father was to show us that we are now being raised like unto the Son of God and into the Godhead.

Ephesians  2:4 But God, who is RICH in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,  2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, HATH QUICKENED US TOGETHER WITH CHRIST, (by grace ye are saved;)  2:6 And HATH RAISED US UP TOGETHER, and MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN heavenly places IN CHRIST JESUS :  2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

God is a lover of many sons and not a Father of few. Even He said in his word that children are the heritage of God and happy is the man that find them many in his hand.

Psalms  127:3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.  127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.  127:5 HAPPY IS THE MAN THAT HATH HIS QUIVER FULL OF THEM: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

And Jesus is a man and at the same time God. He’s a lover of many sons.

Hebrews  2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and BY WHOM ARE ALL THINGS, IN BRINGING MANY SONS unto glory, to make the captain of THEIR salvation perfect through sufferings.

Not to shift away from the focus of this topic. Jesus death was for man and with man. We need to know what raised Him up, Paul praying in Philippians He said

Philippians  3:10 That I may know him, and THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

This is a thick epistle that needs the opening of the eyes so that we won’t see the surface alone but the depth of this gracious word. There is power in the resurrection  of God. God was the one that bruised Jesus because it pleased Him to do so, remember He said no man take my life but I lay it down and the love Him for doing that.

John  10:17  Therefore doth my Father love me, because I LAY DOWN MY LIFE, that I might TAKE IT AGAIN.   John  10:18  NO MAN TAKETH IT FROM ME, BUT I LAY IT DOWN OF MYSELF. I HAVE POWER TO LAY IT DOWN, AND I HAVE POWER TO TAKE IT AGAIN. This commandment have I received of my Father.

The people that hang Him on the cross didn’t kill Him, yes they did but they Father was the one that bruised Him because Jesus said no man can take His life. So, if no man can do this is only God that can do it.

Isaiah  53:10 YET IT PLEASED THE LORD TO BRUISE HIM; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

this too…

Isaiah  53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.  53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, HE WAS BRUISED FOR OUR INIQUITIES: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

So if no man can take His life then it’s only God that can take His life. So He lay it down and then take it up again. Why was He bruised, He was bruised for our sins.
Remember God said the day man eat of the tree he shall surely die and man died because of sin. He was bruised because of our sins.

How then was He raised? He was raised by the operation of God.

Jesus was raised through the faith of the operation of God. We need to know this. Jesus has been raised from death and the joy is we were raised together by the power of God and we are sitted together with Christ and He is interceding for us, this to me means we must also be an interceding church. What Christ did for us did not end at sitting alone, it’s also with interceding for us. We must look to where He is sitted and live our lives high above this world.
Paul said

Colossians  3:1 If YE THEN BE RISEN WITH CHRIST, SEEK THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE ABOVE, WHERE CHRIST SITTETH ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD.  3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.  3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

His resurrection power is alive. And strong in us. We must live in that life of His resurrection and power. We must seek what’s above. If we don’t know of any, then we must know that God is above, and Jesus is also above and we can seek Him.

Hebrews  12:2 LOOKING UNTO JESUS the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews  11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently SEEK HIM.

It’s possible that someone is reading this scriptures and say that but they didn’t continue to say that we are sitted together with Him. Well, it tells that we have a responsibility of which is to look unto Jesus. The one in Colossians also said to set our affection and also seek those things above and Hebrews says He rewards seekers.

Colossians  3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, SEEK those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.  3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

May we live and keep living by the power of His death and His resurrection. May it affect our marriage, ministry, finances, career and all that concerns us in Jesus name. Keep walking…
