One thing you will notice about Paul is, he’s always talking or having his heart towards the day of the Lord. Even if the world do not believe our message, our message still remain valid and true. No man ever pray for his love ones to travel and not come back, we all pray for journey mercy for them. A normal couple that his spouse has travelled will always look towards to see his bride again. There’s a way a man can do all things just for the sake of his wife. I love the song Kenny K’ore sang in his album Eledumare titled Believe, he said in Yoruba language that “Ba mi loni, loni kin wo ke, O fe so mi di oge, if I believe Ofe so mi doosa” meaning “My God said I should look up, that He want to turn me to His bride, if I believe He want to make me God like himself.”
The Church is the bride of the Lord and His intention is to make us God like Himself. No man marries a woman of different heart minded but of the same mind. They must be of the same mind. Can two walk together except they be agreed. We are the bride of the Lamb. The bride will always miss her Groom if he’s gone for long. He has made us as He is. Jesus was the Only begotten Son but after His death the order was changed we became involved as His bride, He became the first begotten and then we were begotten with Him. Christ is the husband of the Church for Whom He died for. He has gone to prepare a place for us in the Father’s house, His heart. So that where He is we will be also. Jesus promise that He is coming back. As the bride of the Lamb we must keep our eyes towards His coming. When we hear that Jesus is coming soon we shouldn’t be afraid. We must rejoice knowing that He’s coming for us. When an ambassador visits a country, he knows who he is going to meet and the person he’s coming to meet knows he’s coming to meet him, so he prepares himself. We must not the bride that fears her husband’s appearing, we must be lovers together with them that love His appearing. Jesus is coming back for his church. The Church must rejoice. The Church must look forward towards his coming back. If you are afraid, is better to adjust yourself and prepare your heart so that He meet you well by putting your house in order.

See how Paul’s heart is towards the coming of the Lord.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but UNTO ALL THEM ALSO THAT LOVE HIS APPEARING.

We must be people that love to see Him come. Our hunger must drive Him enough to come. When the bride keeps showing a sense of how she misses her husband or desire him, the husband begin to feel like coming, a woman can drive her husband to come even when he’s not set. The husband may no longer be able to stand the drive. The Spirit of God must birth hunger in us to drive Him to come. The Spirit and the bride must come into agreement of telling Him to come, that is, we must agree with His Spirit. Is the Spirit of God in us that prepares our heart for His coming. After we have well aligned ourselves with Him. The Holy Ghost will walk in us to drive His hunger in us for Him to come. We are not the world. To the world He comes like thief in the night but to us He’s not like a thief in the night, we prepare our hearts towards His coming by loving His appearance. No bride is sorrowful when she sees or hears her husband is coming. Many times when you see the husband travel for long, he does not come back with the same stature, it’s the same body, but something would have changed about him, he will be looking fresh. Now Jesus has become glorified, He comes in the flesh of the glorified body. Glory to God.

The love of God alone can make us to love His appearing. When we make the love of God the uttermost in our hearts, definitely we will love his appearing. Even if you don’t know how to walk in the love of God, scriptures says God can direct your heart and that’s the work of His Spirit in us.

When our hearts are been directed into the love of God then the second part of this scripture will make us patient in our heart even as we love His appearing

“…and into the patient waiting for Christ.” 2 Thessalonians 3:5

Let’s rejoice because He that will come shall come, He’s taking us to Father Himself. Rejoices for He comes for you O bride, let thine heart linger and hunger for thine husband, get more people to Him for he’s not a husband of few but of many sons, O bride agree with His Spirit to bid Him to come. He also loves to come but we must be excited at His coming. O bride fashion your heart and hunger deeply chasing Him with pure heart. O bride! He cometh for thee. Keep walking…
