Speaker 6: Rev. (Mrs.) Helen Oyegoke

God is up to something, and we must never ever joke with what He is doing this year. I thank God for every minister who has ministered today, the Lord, through them, is bringing forth the same instruction.

Early in the year, the Spirit of God came upon me for days, and the Lord kept saying the same thing to me for days. He was always saying, “Focus”.

We are on a journey. The Lord told me that I should never be distracted from where He is taking the new man to. The new man has a destiny. The process of making everything new at the end (the new man acquiring everything of God) is a journey, and there are different bus stops that the new man can settle in. There are so many distractions: you can get to a point and you will be satisfied without even getting to the destination.

Focus on the end and the destiny of the new man. Don’t let anything distract you until you get to the end. The completion of all the matter we are discussing here is that the new man must be awaken in the light of His presence. When the new man looks completely like Him, then we can say we are done. Until then, nothing should distract you. And so, you cannot stop hearing what  God is bringing to take the new man to his destination.

As we journey, a lot of things will come. To some, prosperity can be a bus stop for them. The Lord once told me to continue with the divine nature, for it is coming with many things. When these things (prosperity, healing, etc) come, which are additions, you might be tempted to stop the journey. The end of the journey is that the new man comes to dwell in God, and God in him.

Focus on the end of the journey. One thing God has been telling us in this place is that He is rounding everything off. We are about to get to the end of all things. God will not judge the earth until the whole heaven is opened, and some men have received the download of all things that be of God – which man is ordained to come into.

We need things of Heaven to make the new man come to his end. Things incorruptible, undefiled and that fade not away are reserved in Heaven for us. The reason they are reserved is so that they can come down to us, and make us Heavenly people.

2 John 1:1-10
“[1] The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; [2] For the truth’s sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.”

You cannot love in truth until you know the truth. We cannot say confidently, now, that truth is dwelling in us, because we are still learning the truth. We are supposed to be carriers of the truth – “God who wants all men to be saved, and to come into the knowledge of the truth (1Timothy 2:4)”.

Jesus Christ, the kingdom and perfect man, is a Son of God in truth and in love. This is the end of every child of God, and it is the desire of God that all His children become His sons in truth and love.

2 John 1:9-10
“[9] Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. [10] If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed”

You need doctrine to make God abide in you, and for you to abide in God. We need to be taught doctrine. Abiding in doctrine is living by doctrine. This doctrine is not the doctrine or tradition of men – it is the doctrine of Christ.

If we do not know the doctrine of Christ and abide in it, then we do not have God. We invite God into our hearts by doctrine. God cannot be our God, and we be His people, except we abide in the doctrine of Christ.

John 14:23
“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.”

Isaiah 28:9
“Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.”

When you are being weaned from the milk, you are a being prepared to abide in Christ, because without you being taught the doctrine of Christ, you don’t have what it takes to obey/abide in Christ and His Father.

The Son has His doctrine, and the Father also has His doctrine. The doctrine of the Son is faith. When righteousness is revealed, the doctrine of the Son is being unveiled. Doctrine must be revealed. You cannot come into the doctrine of Christ without the revelation of Christ. The just shall live by faith means that the just shall live by that which is revealed – righteousness which is of Christ.

A man cannot live except he obeys the doctrine of Christ – which is righteousness and faith. Faith comes by the revelation of righteousness. Paul said, “I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me (Galatian 2:20)”. Paul came into ‘not living’ and ‘Christ living in him’ by the reason of doctrine, not by confessing.

Christ was revealed to Paul so that Christ can abide in him. In this season, we will come into so much grace in hearing that we will know what and how it means to live by faith, and be crucified with Christ.

You cannot have the Son and His Father without teaching. There is a place of learning; you must never get tired of learning, until the life of God is coming out of us without any hindrance. We have not been educated enough. To a large extent, we are still illiterate in the Spirit. We transgress doctrine because we do not know it.

The kind of prayers I pray now are those with strong crying – like Jesus did, so that I can abide – that I might be saved from death. I just don’t want to preach life, I want to come to hold this life. This is the reason I am always praying. At times you don’t have words to express these prayers, the prayer is so that I can abide and obey the doctrine of Christ.

Another reason I pray is that the doctrine might visit me. I want to know what the doctrine of Christ is, so that I might obey and abide in it; and in the end, that I can abide in the Son, and the Son in me.

Hebrews  5:12-14
“[12] For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. [13] For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. [14] But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

Anyone who uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness, and such a one does not have the knowledge nor understanding of the doctrine of Christ. “Teachers” mentioned in the scripture above are supposed to be teachers of doctrine.

The journey of a believer is progressive, it starts from the milk of the word. Although milk does not perfect you, it gets some things out of you and into you. I can know someone who has not had sincere/good milk even by their conversation. You cannot handle the word of righteousness if you have not handled milk. There is a growth that milk offers. You need milk, but however, it will not bring you into the inheritance.

If you drink milk well, you won’t have fear (of death). I couldn’t make some choices in my life because I was fearful – I lacked the training of milk. When you see someone who hasn’t taken good milk, you will see some things in such a person that will stop righteousness. Even at milk stage, there should still be some elements of the fear of God. It was in milk that I learnt the leading of the Spirit. However, no one wants his child to remain taking milk all through his/her life.

When the Godhead introduce you to their doctrine, they want you to live and abide. The revelation of righteousness informs the faith of the Son. You cannot walk in the faith of the Son except righteousness is revealed to you. Righteousness is truth, and Christ is truth. The truth is in Jesus, and it is a commandment that everyone should obey truth. We must master the doctrine of faith (doctrine of the Son) and live by it until we come into the doctrine of God (doctrine of the Father/love). We must master both doctrines for us to get to the end, because both the Father and the Son are the inheritance of the saints.

The doctrine of God is love. God himself has His own doctrine. I have learnt love in the milk dimension, and I took it seriously. But there is another realm we are coming into where love is a doctrine, and we must learn it, live it, and abide in it. It is a kind of love we do not understand. By the kind of instructions coming, I see that this last level of doctrine is high. The Father Himself is the one bringing instructions now, and we need to learn it.

The doctrine of God is so high that our mind cannot comprehend it. We ought to just obey because it is God who is commanding it. When you share and discuss these instructions with a fellow man, he/she will not be able to understand it because it is a higher course.

The new man must learn the doctrine of Christ. When you have used milk, the next thing is for you to learn knowledge and understand doctrine. Do not ever despise learning.

Isaiah  28:9-10
“[9] Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. [10] For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little”

You need patience and time in learning doctrine. Precept must be upon precept, then precept upon precept again! Line upon line, and line must be upon line again! Then, here a little, and there a little.

It’s like someone who has just started learning the English alphabet, and wanted to immediately spell the English words. Such a one need to wait and learn more, but that does not mean the person should stop learning two-lettered words. Don’t be in a hurry, and don’t let the devil deceive you that you have learnt enough. God transfers knowledge to us precept upon precept.

The learning of two-lettered words will not end you in becoming a professor of English because such a one will not be able to practise that profession. God wants us to become professor in eternal life! May God give us grace to learn to the end. We need learning to be able to understand doctrine.

When one has entered the doctrine of God, he or she is entering the holy of holies, and has become a priest, because the lips of the priest should keep knowledge (Malachi 2:7). The destination of the new man is to be conformed to the image of the Son. Don’t stop learning doctrine! Don’t stop acquiring knowledge – the doctrine of the Son, and the doctrine of the Father.

The doctrine of the Father is one which flesh and blood cannot learn and obey. It takes one who has learnt the life, and lived by the doctrine of the Son to learn the Father. These learning are compulsory learning, because without them, we cannot have the Father or His Son in us.

Don’t deceive yourself, God is not mocked. Let not God put you on a scale and then be found wanting. You cannot be light and say you are empty, we are all at different levels of learning. Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re now a professor while you know for yourself that you are still learning alphabets. We should be sincere with ourselves. Ask yourself, “How much precepts have come to me? And how much line has come to me?” Where we are going is for us to be able to profess eternal life.

Let’s pray for focus, for God to help us with focus to abide and obey the doctrine. Focus to be able to completely receive the doctrine from heaven, and that we will be patient enough to learn the doctrine of Christ and of God in this season. Line must be upon line, and precept must be upon precept. May we be practitioners of Christ and His Father.

The full grown spiritual man is a priest. When we are looking for a spiritual man, we are looking for a man of knowledge.

Let’s pray that God will give us grace to learn until we get to a stage where we are priests with knowledge. Let’s pray that no one will be a spiritual dropout until we get to the end of faith – where God will be our God, and we His people.
