Day 6 – Morning Session

Ephesians 2:10
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them”.

The work began from the day we were born again and the work is progressing, it is not stopping because we are his craft, His business. He is working in us and amongst us. We are His assignment. He has created things and placed them in their places (He is the one who placed stars in their constellations).

He has set them to do what they are meant to do. We are the present work of God.
We are His present project- what He is doing now. We are recipients of His work, if indeed God doesn’t sleep or slumber, He is doing this so that we will come into that which He has ordained. This is why He is working, this work will not stop until He is finished.

He that has started a good work in us is faithful to complete it. He is a faithful High priest to bring us to God. For those who are just born again- You are His workmanship and for those who will be, we are His workmanship. We have been raised together with him. Before time, we have been there, He saw us ahead of time. His seed is Christ, God’s ordination is upon all of us; His children. Everyone of us must walk in the foreordination of God and that’s what is being preached to us today so that we can be aware of it. We are being awakened to what God has done so that we can step into them and walk in them.

Pastor Ernest Paul talked about the fact that God has never left the earth without a witness. There are people that bore witness of God, even of Jesus. Just like those days, anyone who gets born again first is the one people run to first. He stands there as a witness.

From time to time there are witnesses of God that appear, they show God in a dimension. Those who were witnesses 30 years ago will no longer be witnesses if they stay there. God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. He is absolute light. God is the first witness. Beyond John, God had a greater witness. But John was a witness to help men to believe. The God our father is the first witness, Jesus is another witness. His person is a witness.

You discover that God wants to make us true witnesses. This is why God will allow darkness to arise. By this, God will make you know that you need more light so that you will not be comfortable in the midst of darkness, light will arise. Darkness is light in another way because it is a light of another kind. Every light has its own measure of life.

Matthew 5:16
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Light is in different kinds. We must have a light that shines above the present darkness. Darkness is increasing so that we will shine more. More darkness is more light. God is saying that by this, we need to shine more. Increase in effect because light will shine and darkness will not understand it.The testimony is in various degrees.

1 Corinthians 1:10
“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”

The people talked about here have the testimony of Christ confirmed in them. In the book of acts, the Apostles talked about the time of restitution to come. God sent Jesus for the rain of new birth which will bring back the restitution of all things. Our restoration is beyond restoration back to Adam. God was looking at man in Christ, a man who will have His image and likeness. The time of restoration here is restoration to the original design God had in mind when He said, “let us make man in our image…”as in the book of Genesis 1:26.

Talking about the appearance of the Lord- Witnesses appear when Christ appears. It is Jesus’ appearance that raise witnesses. There are allocations of the Spirit that commensurates with Jesus’ appearance. In this walk of Faith, all we need is Jesus. That was the reason for his coming, that we may advance and look like Him. This is what the prophets began to say. The people in 1 Corinthians had been born again and filled with the Holy Ghost.

You discover that everything Jesus is doing in us is to make us go up. We saw the carnal expressions of the Christians in Corinthians. But it couldn’t be denied they were people of grace, they had been separated.

Sometimes, when we see Christians that don’t have our stuff, we may want to think they are not born again. Paul got to Ephesus and met believers there. They were followers of John before Paul got there. But they had not received the Holy Ghost to confirm them as Jesus’ material. I don’t argue with people who say they don’t believe some things. The born again experience changed us, taking us from the power of darkness to light. What is done is done! It can’t be changed!

They’ve believed and the Holy Ghost has confirmed them. It’s not for you to debate about. If you don’t experience the Lord, you don’t have Him. When you’re born again, you’re changed. You’re of God. It’s an inner experience that changed your identity from Satan to Christ. What God has done is done. We can’t deny what God has done.

People like Philip that went to Christ saw Him there, He preached and the whole city turned to God. That’s a great Evangelist. They invited the Apostles to come lay hands on the people to receive the Holy Ghost, he wanted the Apostles to come confirm if the harvest was of the Lord. One can only plant, or water but it’s the Lord that brings the increase and confirmation. The apostles confirmed the experiences that they were genuine; of the Lord.
It doesn’t always have to follow our process. When it’s of God, it’s of God. Jesus is the one who comes to us and makes us witnesses at various levels.

To some of you, you’re a witnesses in your families. You’re an evidence of light and that your light must not become darkness. That’s why your eyes must be single. We are all children of light and the eyes of the Father is on us that’s why He’s been following us to bring us to where we are now. Some go to conferences and meetings to add to their learning but a time comes in our life when we become followers of God. That way, we are adding more to what God has begun in us.

If we’re not filled with the Holy Spirit, that simple experience may not make much sense when growth comes. The experience cannot be removed even if its disputed. For some of us, when we got born again, we enjoyed the rain of the Holy Ghost but as time passed, there’s this feeling that  ‘There’s really nothing much about the Holy Ghost’. That way, damage has been done to others coming behind to partake of this experience too.

This experience needs to be part of us, and remain with us, and become ours. If not, Children coming as well, will not partake of this feast. The feast in Israel is to be kept. The Passover is the first fruit. Christ is our unleavened bread, our trumpet, our tabernacle, our new Day. He is the essence of the whole celebration, our new Day.

Jesus channeled a pathway for us to go through so we can come to experience Truth. God wants to confirm and establish His testimony in us. He wants to raise us as Apostles of this testament. It is God that builds, Satan can’t build anything, not even an Apostle but he can change an Apostle of Christ to his own. God is the builder of all things. Heaven is jealous over us so they’ll keep us.

The devil can see that something is happening to us. He knows when building is going on. He’s a man of stature. He can see it. Peter didn’t know he was a man of good material that someone was eyeing from a distance. God spends time to build, and what God is building is already appearing. The building isn’t physical but spiritual but eyes can see it. We need to pray that our eyes of understanding be enlightened. Satan can discern when a city is going through building. He can’t go to rest because of that. He wants to do everything to stop this house the Lord is building, but this present house being built won’t stop. Amen!

1 Corinthians 3:9
“For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building”.

This scripture is not referring to us all. In some of Paul’s writings, some of the things He said are for all believers, while others are not for all. Who are the ‘we’ in the above verse? We are God’s house, God’s farmland. We need the witnesses of God. It’s not everyone that can see what God is doing. Jesus is the building of God.

Hebrews 10:5
“Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me…”

From the head of His body to His feet is God’s building. God needs people that will witness Him about His building. At various times of our lives, there are measures of Christ we can see. We need to maximize the use of the unction of the new birth, so that we can pick the things of God. That someone tells a lie doesn’t mean he’s not a child of God. He shouldn’t lie but he can.

The prayer of the Enlightenment of the eyes is an inexhaustible prayer. We can’t exhaust that prayer, if not, we will not be re-positioned well. God is greater than our hearts! Christ measured out grace that’s why what He did in us is something progressive. There are different points of His appearances. From the point of drinking into the Spirit, enjoying the Holy Ghost experience, is a measure of light.

When Jesus was born, angels were singing, nature was responding. The process of His growth was silent, there was nothing to talk about, till the age of ‘12’ which shows adoption. Then the whole process was silent again till ‘30’. He was raising the Saviour yet, it looked like there was nothing happening on the earth. In the heavens, they were watching that work. When He was born, they proclaimed: “A king is born today”. When it was time for Jesus to enter His adoption, He went to the temple, he was stirring them and asking questions.

From that level, He was completely under the tutelage of His Father, silently. All through that period, the Father’s eyes was on the Son. If anything had happened between those ‘30 years’, the whole process would have been aborted. Sometimes in our lives, five years is a process going on that must not be terminated. We must complete that cycle uninterrupted. The life must manifest, and it must appear. Grace must come for us to attain the stature needed. We receive life everyday but the life may not show.

There’s need to see the building which must be of God. All of us minister to the building but we must see the building. The building must merge up with what He has in His mind. We are a building of God going on. It must conform to the mind of God.

Romans 12:1-2
I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

There must be a change that conforms. That conformation must be what is that good, acceptable and perfect in the sight of God. When the Apostles were alive, the churches were making progress according to God’s design. We must see Christ, not just in His regalia but the internal structure, the administration of Christ. The last was John. He was the last person, that’s why God gave him this revelation, God kept him and allowed darkness to attack. Nearly all the churches were doing well. They were confirmed and making progress towards the coming of the Lord, advancing in grace.
When Satan did all and the Apostles were going away, God had to keep John to receive this revelation of Jesus for the purpose of raising more witnesses. Once the testimony of Jesus is tampered with, there’s no more witness.

There’s a part of leading of the Spirit, because your leading may not be whole and accurate. If the Spirit is checked well, a prompting will be seen and if it is the other way, one will see that there is no order. The eye of the Lord is over the house!

Revelation 2: 4-10
4. Nevertheless I have somewhat against you, because you have left your first love.
5. Remember therefore from where you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come to you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, except you repent.
6. But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
7. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the middle of the paradise of God.
8. And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things said the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
9. I know your works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but you are rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
10. Fear none of those things which you shall suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that you may be tried; and you shall have tribulation ten days: be you faithful to death, and I will give you a crown of life”.

We would have expected that Jesus said He would come take him from the prison. He said “be faithful unto death (not life),”I’ll give thee a crown of life.” There are things that came into them that was part of the grace the apostolic carried. They were not afraid of death, poverty, or anything. Why? In the testimony, there’s no poverty there. Christ became poor that we through His poverty might become rich. Their riches was Christ!

The Laodicean church was really rich and their hearts became defined by the riches. Their lives were no longer defined by the testimony of Jesus but what they had acquired. They had another righteousness outside the righteousness of the testimony. It’s the Spirit of Christ that wrote this through Paul. It’s not ownership; it’s a sense of commitment given them by Christ. If we allow for reasoning, we will consider different things. We need the standard of righteousness to shapen us by the grace of Christ. Else, we’ll go round and round on our own. John was called to receive the testimony because he was a fellow servant. The testimony is the life of God in manifestation. It’s not titles.

In Paul’s teachings, He noted that no other foundation can be laid than the one that has been laid; no foundation for himself or the churches He built. The foundation is Christ! You can be angry with Paul to ask: “Who are you to say ‘I lay the foundation”? Paul laid the foundation for the new man. Up till now, we are building on that foundation. If one doesn’t build on that foundation, then, it’s not Christ’s work.

It is possible to be born again, prophesy, and the earth opens and the whole sky turns black but if one is not laid on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, then, Christ is not involved. We are a building that must be laid on that foundation. God gave the revelation of that foundation to a man. To be saved, we must lay on that foundation. Paul’s writings is the core foundation of the church. It’s election that did that. Election picked him, found him, brought him and made him. It’s wisdom on our part to acknowledge that God has worked. No matter how much one sees Cherubims of Glory, if we’re not founded on that grace, there is no glory. These things should not just be said, it must be manifested. And, as Apostle Paul instructed, we must see that we build according to pattern.

Moses finished building according to pattern. God gives them grace or building by commandment, commandment is not just instruction. For example, there is an installation in a bird that makes it a bird. It’s an installation code.

Commandment is just like a master code that makes it work. If the master code that makes an eagle an eagle is not there, then it won’t act like an eagle. It is called the commandment of the Everlasting God or Eternal God. This is what holds things together or they will be in disarray. One day, I began to pray in my heart that God should raise Apostles, the wisdom in them is what will make us perfect. Apostleship means little Christ- a measure of Christ.
Christ has measure, stature and fullness.

Ephesians 4:13
“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ…”

I believe the church is rising above the level of children to statures. We need stature. We need to grow, and it is not by zeal. The investment will be lost no matter how zealous we are. It is not about being zealous but what Christ gives. Christ gives grace. God’s plan is to make us witnesses. This is just grace. The Church of Christ is the same, what makes us different is our individual foundations. If we build by the teachings of Paul as a Pastor anywhere, we’ll find out that we all look alike. What we have been able to establish is that, there was grace for the work Paul did and Christ approved it. As years go by, if we follow teachings, we would find out that we all look alike.
