Speaker 2: Pastor Ken
The Responsibility of Stopping Death

God is raising a people that would wholely follow God; this isn’t just following alone, but following with all your heart and possessing a love unfeigned. As I look at this type of Love, I see great hope and how that God is raising a company of men that would truly finish his program.

We see expressly how God wants to stop death, stopping death means receiving life and salvation.

1 John  3:14
“We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death”

Take note of the word “know”. There’s something about Love, it brings about a knowledge of life whereby we would know life and know how to live and recognize anything that is not life. In passing from death to life, we come into a better hope.

Having a better hope is leaving a carnal ground and accessing a better ground where we can access the love of God unto a better life. If you naturally define love, you would see that that definition can’t bring you into the knowledge of God. The truth is, coming into this knowledge allows you love God and love the brethren. This coming is a tutelage that brings you to a place that allows you stand in a place of responsibility over your brother. This fully expresses the fact that God wants us to come into a place of fellowship and responsibility over our brethren.

Numbers  25:7-13
“And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand; And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel. And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy. Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace: And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel”

Psalms  106:30
“Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed”

The definition of righteousness from these scriptures is the ability to track death and eliminate it from the camp. As we walk, the Lord would count unto us as righteousness, the ability to eliminate darkness from our camps when we recognize it.

A demand of life is to keep the camp intact by eliminating death and establishing righteousness. God is training us via love so as to instill a sense of commitment and righteousness to deal with death in your brethren. One way is to pray for your brother when you see he is about to make a decision.

Death can be an attitude and a nature which causes people to break fellowship and justify their actions thereby defiling their vessels.

God expects us to preserve the life within a company, but death seeks to destroy and take away the life within a company of people.

2 Kings 4:38-41
And Elisha came again to Gilgal: and there was a dearth in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him: and he said unto his servant, Set on the great pot, and seethe pottage for the sons of the prophets. And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not. So they poured out for the men to eat. And it came to pass, as they were eating of the pottage, that they cried out, and said, O thou man of God, there is death in the pot. And they could not eat thereof. But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And there was no harm in the pot”

Sometimes, we bring death to our own beings by our desperate need to serve God and please Him, and we loose track of the fact that we are welcoming death into our camps as a result of our over activeness and need to want to please God.

Most often while we are trying to raise standards and allow men meet these standards, we gather wild vines and communicate death to men unknowingly, but my prayer is that death would be taken away from our camps.

To recover these souls that have received deaths in this measure, salvation is needed for restoration and the death in their pots need to be excavated by the word of righteousness which is being spoken. One way this love does it is via love which would ensure that salvation is instilled.

Obadiah  1:17-21
“But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble, and they shall kindle in them, and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it. And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau; and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead. And the captivity of this host of the children of Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the cities of the south. And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’s”

Salvation would only come by the reason of men who have come into planes of love; a plane whereby God would trust them with authorities, abilities and powers of life that would stop death and eliminate the death that lurks and dwells in the hearts of men upon the earth.

I see what the lord wants to do with our obedience. We might not know fully, but let’s just follow His instructions. Let’s make sincere commitments to kill death when we see and recognize its operations by asking God to aid its elimination from your camp. The thing called death has terrible agendas which are to waste and cut short destinies of generations. So, let’s be committed to joining forces to stop death in every of its measures.
