Speaker 4: Pastor Ken
We don’t really understand what the life of God is. Sometimes we obey God because we want to keep our conscience right; The issues of learning is so that we can engage life; All of commandment is entirely life. Truly, if we really understand that by the disposition of the soul, we become a broken cistern that can’t hold a broken water. We need to understand the transaction by which life goes in and out. The entrances of God is so that we can come into greater measures of life. The realm where we operate is the realm where we can easily use life. In this journey, we should learn how to keep life.
The issue of keeping life is far more important than the issue you’re facing; Some of us tell God how to address issues on ground and focus on the life that is passing out on them; The former position keeps you from that season from entering into the plans and purposes of God for you. Satan wants to keep you busy so that by the time you come out, you would have lost so much life; God is telling you to rise up and not to be overwhelmed by that burden on you because the realm you are is that of man; The longer you stay there, (in that place of being overwhelmed by the distracting issue), the more you shut the door into access in your heart.
Sometimes, we go ahead to buy that thought. Do you know that the fact that God forgives your sin doesn’t mean you’ve recovered life completely? It takes time to regain that which you’ve lost; If all what we do, does not measure the life of God we can keep in our bowels then it won’t do you any good; When this season pass over you will know you’ve lost something. “Esau sought his birthright with tears” (Hebrews 12:17). The realm of the spirit is so real but we don’t understand; There are transactions that happen while we are asleep; If your journey in God amounts to more life in you, then happy are you cause that’s the trust of the gospel.
In this chapter, the concept of life runs through all the verses. We should walk in the newness of life; Life is life because it has the ability to come into newness, that newness is morning. It is demanding that we light up on the path where life is, there is a father who is involved in the dispensing of life. When God opens this chapter for us it is meant to be what our soul can hold onto. This training helps us to acquire a life of righteousness. We are not glorying in commandment; The activities that involve this learning brings mercy and this is an opportunity to have access to more light. He is bringing us to a day where his light will take over. “shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?” (Hebrews 12:9). Jesus is still fellowshipping with life right now, we are dissipating life when we disobey this life. What truly defines holiness is not the do’s and dont’s, but the life of God.
“For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness”.
Partakers of his holiness means partaking with his life. He chastises us in order to give us His life; His life is a strong and very high currency; Holiness means that my life has been upgraded to participate with God at a higher realm. When God says come into my holiness then he’s saying come into my life. Our priesthood is coming more into life by this, we would have acquired all intelligence that God needs for us to gather his life.
We ask for help to get to a place where we can fully acquire the image of God which is righteousness that the life of God may fully increase in us. Amen!
