There’s a fear in men. You hear men say, “At the age of 50, what have I achieved?” If you think this way, you’d miss the labour in the Spirit: You won’t see it like this; ”At this age, have I been able to raise men for God?”. The former yoke (illustration given above) isn’t cheap: Satan sells such a yoke; it’s very expensive. The reward of your labour here on earth will only give you fake joy. Pictures will run through your mind because they will show you things.
(Rev. Kay asks a brother a question)
Question: ”Why are men labouring in Aspanda market?”
Answer: “Sir, it’s to prove a point that they are men; to make a show of themselves”.
Question: “What’s that show?”
Answer: “The show is that they’d have an edge or a placement in the world”.
Is it possible to live without proving points? Is it possible to just live and not want to prove any point or make a name? Can you just live? We even thought that in the ministry, there wouldn’t be anything like proving points: even in the ministry, proving of points is also there. A man of God who has been walking with God can be discouraged. You need might to be able to interpret that what you’re going through is nothing. I also warn you, “Don’t go for every celebration where men of God would be talking and boasting about cars, houses, etc.”
You can build some edifices that might leave you a mad man. The picture of what you built alone won’t allow your soul to rest. When Satan puts a burden on you, you’d till the ground for him: You’d raise models for him so that more labourers would be recruited into hell.
This is sealing; but the end is death. God will get you to a place where you won’t feel inferior because you’re too big inside; more than the outside. Can you die to names and what you want to be in this world? They want you to get to where you’re not living anymore; a place to learn the name of the Son. It’s beautiful to live without peer pressure. For instance; How will you feel if all your friends moved from Egbeda (an area in Lagos) but you still remained there; will you count it has nothing? You don’t need your story to change in that regard; you only need the story of the name of the Son!
“Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls”
This is big! You can’t escape every snare of the fowler when you’re still high in the heart. You won’t find rest except you’re lowly. “I am meek and lowly in heart” is not a one day job. The meek and lowly are the babes. Jesus thanked the Father for revealing things (revelations) to babes. The reason the Father gives the Son everything is so that the Son can in turn give you all things that will make you know the Father. You can’t know God’s revelation except through the Son. The Son is saying,”All that I knew made Me meek and low”. If you’re not meek and lowly in heart, you can’t find, locate or discover rest.
“For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light”
This labour will lead you to life. The Lord is saying, “I won’t tear you apart or burden you like Satan. I’m not asking you for too much; I’m asking for your submission. Let Me live through you, so you can discover rest.”
I sense in my spirit that a tent is being made. This tent being made looks weak but it’s not; It’s stronger than houses of stones. This is the tent which the Lord has pitched Himself. It’s a dangerous tent: strong enough to wipe away civilisations. It’s a tent not made with hands. I’m seeing the fabric of the tent; it’s never been seen before. The clothing woven together to make the tent has never been seen. This impression is a material that is fearful; even spirits are afraid for the tent to be pitched. Anywhere they pitch it, trouble starts for them, because it’s a tent that will make men rest.
Many will learn to rest. We are in that day; the great day of labour. Men will enjoy a day of glorious rest.
“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love”
“I’m going to be accredited a worthy walker of this vocation in Jesus; name, Amen!”
Jesus says ”I’m meek and lowly in heart”. Lowliness and meekness are in many degrees. The meekness of the Son of God is the labour of our profession: I need to learn of Him. When we’ve finished learning Him, we would be found meek and lowly in heart.
The world wants you to be high in heart. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God” (2 Tim. 3:1-4). These are all symptoms of the last day nemesis. Christians are also inclusive; even pastors. They are symptoms of the second death. We should be insulated against these; we shouldn’t be found with them.
Be careful how you drink the drink of that woman called the world. You need immunity. The cup of Babylon will always pass before you. You can’t run away from what Satan serves men. Instead, come to where you drink the poison of Babylon and it can’t harm you.
“Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet”
A young lion has so much strength to war with you, but you can tread upon it.
Tongues and Interpretation 4
Behold I will bruise him under your feet: I will bruise Satan under your feet. I’m able to bruise him under your feet. I will cause your feet to be strengthened and polished for you to stand to walk. You will walk, and walk so that all that is Satan in you will drop. I will take you, and cause you to drop even his yoke. Satan’s yoke will drop from you, and you’ll bruise him under your feet.
Tongues and Interpretation 5
I have walked this path before; I’ve gone through this path. I’ve walked the length and breadth of it. I know this world and this path. I overcame this world; so I know and understand what it holds and has. What it holds and has is sin. What it holds and has is fear. What it holds and has is death. There’s nothing to rely on, it is emptiness. Depend on Me. Look to Me. Depend on Me, and let your heart fully trust in Me. I will cause you to walk, and you will overcome it. I will make you walk, and the fear of it will be overcome; even the sting that stains man’s soul will drop.
I will find rest, and that rest is the Father. It’s not easy to find the Father. Finding rest is beyond a state, it’s meeting with a Person. It’s the lowly and meek that can find Him. We need to find that Father; He’s Sabbath where you do no works. Immediately you find Him, you’d cease from your own works. You need to find Him; He’s far from hearts and minds. It will take a journey of believing with seeking to find Him. It takes meekness upon meekness and lowliness upon lowliness to find the Father. The place where He hides is away from the world; the world is opposed to Him. With the world, you won’t find Him. The world is His enemy. If you go the world way, you won’t find the Father.
The parable about a man who finds a treasure: He TRAVELLED across the sea to purchase a field. And when he bought it, he had to excavate the land to find the treasure (Matt. 13:44). Two things are paramount in this parable. The first is trade: selling all; and the other is travelling to buy the land. Waiting for the excavation and finding the treasure is the most important labour he’d do; such a man has sown.
There’s no way you can get that treasure or be able to purchase this treasure without having to sell ALL. Paul said, “I’ve lost all things to gain” (Phil. 3:7-8); that was an apostle.’
The treasure is the Father; the journey and the land is the Son. The Son is the path to the Father (“I’m the way the truth and the life”) (John 14:6). That piece of land is where the Father hides Himself. To get that treasure, you need to get the Son to find Him.
All we are looking for is the Father. There’s something about this being; His beauty or perfection is beyond our imagination. After you’ve sold all to find Him, you’d discover you’ve not done anything at all, and you’d wonder at Him asking, “What kind of thing is this, that such a person gave Himself to you?”
After you’ve bought the land, you need His help. With all your strategies of excavating, you won’t get Him. Have you wondered why Jesus would boast of His Father only? There’s nothing else He says except “My Father, My Father”. His Father is too beautiful.
I saw a being rising; He was all treasures. He was painting a picture. I saw gold, diamond, rubies, coming out of Him, but they are not those materials really; He’s made up of spiritual things.
The Father is wealthy beyond your imagination. He set gold to be under the ground for us to know Who He is. Those things show He’s too terrible. He uses those things to speak of Himself. Before we meet with Him, we need to be cleansed. Something happens to your soul when you meet Him. What happens is that your soul comes to the end of seeking anything outside God. You will lose the potential to be tempted, and you won’t feel hungry for any other thing. You’ll see no pleasure even in going to heaven. There’s no way you’d meet with Him and you won’t be healed of Him. He carries things.
Yesterday, I was praying and I remembered “Pleasures forever more.” The Father is Pleasure and Joy; although there’s a pleasure and joy for now since you’ve not overcome; but you need to come into real Pleasure and Joy. You have to overcome everything that won’t make you turn back. Anyone who gets to such a place will the Father give of the fruit that’s in paradise. They’d put in you pleasurable fruit and meat. A lot of people describe heaven, but God is more pleasurable that anything we have seen; He’s the pleasure.
Someone had an encounter here. An angel who had been sent for sometime to the earth for this work was begging God to return, but the Father told him to stay more, for many more have to be taken to this realm. Why would this angel want to go back? It’s because he’s suffering here.
When I went to Rhema School, I had an experience, and the Lord told me; “I will take you home”. He told me home is an experience. When I returned to Nigeria, in the first School of the Spirit in Ajegunle, there was a prophecy with the same word; “HOME!”
Home is the cocoon of the Godhead. He’ll take some of you into Home. It’s beyond going heaven. I can get home being on earth. Home can be brought to you anywhere. You can’t go home with the culture of the world; you need to learn the Father and learn the Son. You’re heavily laden; you’re a labourer, and so you don’t understand rest yet. The unrest life can’t enter home. You must learn rest!
Pst. Emeka concluding
The Father is mysterious. He is the Knowledge that passeth all understanding. He is giving us things that pass understanding. Amen.
