Genesis 29:35 And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.
On the fourth account of child bearing, Leah finally got it right. She accurately got the message God was sending to her. She finally understood the reason for the gift that God had given to her. She called her fourth son Judah which means ‘praise the Lord’.
Do we ever know that the prosperity God ushers into our lives are not meant for us to squander and lavish, but for us to come into praise, for us to praise God with our lives and our substance?
Do you ever know that God allowed you get that job so you can learn to praise Him all the days of your life?
Do you realise that your life was spared unlike some of your colleagues just for you to come into praising the Lord?
How unfortunate is it to see that we do not live a life of praise to the Lord for the blessings of the Lord that has been poured in our lives.
It’s time to live a life of praise. Praise is not what you do as occasions demand, it is a life well pleasing to God. A life that continuously exalt God in all because of He is good and His mercy endures forever.
Psalms 76:1 In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel. God is revealed in the praise of His people. Rather than complain, give thanks. Praise the Lord at all times, for He is good.
1 Chronicles 16:34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
