Genesis 29:33 And she conceived again, and bare a son; and said, Because the LORD hath heard that I was hated, he hath therefore given me this son also: and she called his name Simeon.

Revelation 2:7   He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

The second son of Jacob given birth by Leah was named Simeon, meaning ‘to hear’. God was sending a message to Leah and she was expected to hear but she misinterpreted the message.

God is speaking, always trying to tell us something with each passing minute. He wants us to listen to Him rather we confine God to listening to us than we paying attention to hear Him.

We throw all our seeming problems or challenges at Him but He wants to talk to us through those situations. There is a message He wants to pass to us. In every situation we find ourselves, there’s always present the voice of God that not only consoles us, but also instructs us and shows us directions out of every situation.

Unfortunately, many are just engrossed with the one way channel prayer where they just want God to hear them and do what they desire even when the answer to the prayer can lead to something else.

God, who at various times and in various  ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the  prophets, has in these last days spoken to us  by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all  things, through whom also He made the worlds;  Hen.1:1-2.

God wants to speak to us through the Son. Jesus wants to speak to us by the leading of the Holy Ghost. So He says to us, ‘he that has ears, let him hear what the Spirit is saying’. The solution to all the things we face and see are locked in the word of God. He wants you to hear the Son.

Open your hears today and you shall hear the words of life. In His word, there is life. “It is the Spirit  who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”

Hear the Son, not your problems.
Listen to what God is saying, not what your situation is saying.
Hear what the Spirit is telling you about life, not what the circumstances is saying.
Find out what the word will say about your life, not what the world will say.

Shun all other voices and listen to the one voice that matters most, the voice of the Spirit. God bless you.
