Live by Faith, not in Doubt

Genesis 3:3 “But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest  die.”

One potent weapon the devil uses to instruct man into disobedience and distrust is doubt.

The devil uses the thoughts of man to cast doubts on what God has said or is saying. And when doubt is fully matured, unbelief sets in and we know that anything outside faith is sin.

Man’s fall began with Eve doubting the authentication of the standing instructions of God. The devil gave her a counter opinion and she considered the possibilities.

Another subtle way to express doubt is to consider other options apart from what God has said. To ponder on other ways to success outside of God’s instruction.

The promises of God over you are to be believed without doubt. Doubt kills the incubating period of faith.

A doubtful man is not likely to receive anything from the Lord. James wrote: James 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

Doubt is a killer. It was also responsible for Peter sinking while he walked on water.

So, be resolute in your believe. Do not harbour any doubt as this would throw you into unbelief and then faithlessness sets in.

Just like Peter, your walk of Faith is important. Don’t look at the situation around you to judge yourself. Look unto Jesus and believe to the very end.

Abraham, popularly referred to as father of Faith believed even when it’s difficult to believe. He hoped when all hope seems lost. Romans 4.

Don’t relent in the Faith. Keep growing. Don’t let doubt take you away from God’s presence. Don’t let doubt cost you your walk of Faith. Don’t let doubt separate you from life. The just shall live by Faith. Live by faith, not in doubt.

Jesus loves you and cares. Have a blessed day.
