Psalm 107:30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

One of the most difficult thing to achieve at these times is quietness of the Spirit, Soul and Body. There is so much noise around us. Many things seems to be happening at the same time and somehow we tend to lose our quietness(peace of mind).

In the midst of all these situations, God says to you be quiet. Have a peace of mind that can not be affected by the environment. The things happening around you should not make you lose you quietness.

The Lord wants to speak to us in the midst of all these chaos. The world may be experiencing chaos, but the child of God should not be threatened by the happenstance.

The scripture says, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” Prov.18:10. All you need for guaranteed safety and peace is to run into a hiding place, the name of the Lord.

Ps.91:1-2 says, He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Quietness relates to the ability to hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying even in the midst of the storm. Jesus challenged us by showing us what it means to have peace. While going on a trip with His disciple on the sea, there was a storm that raged to the point where the disciples became afraid of their lives, yet Jesus was said to be relaxed sleeping.

He was not frightened or moved by the raging storm. Even when He was hurriedly frightfully informed about the raging storm, all He did was to speak peace to the situation. You cannot express peace on the outside if you do not have peace on the inside.

See how God reacted to the rage of the people. “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.” Ps.2:4. If our Father in heaven would laugh at a rage, it means we also should.

Many times, we get scared of the adversary that we lose our sense of victory. We are not suppose to fight for victory, rather God expects us to fight from Victory. Let your inner peace become evident today by maintaining quietness in your spirit.

The Lord has so many things to share with us, but we are too distracted, too carried away, too busy and too occupied with many things that will amount to nothing. In the midst of chaos, Hear God.

You are as better as the last word God spoke to you, so, in every situation, let your spirit hear from Him. His words brings us into freedom.

Enjoy grace.
