Psalm 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.

Are you always glad in being in the presence of the Lord? Are you always excited to have a continued relationship with God? Do you do your diligence to ensure that you do not step out of relationship with the Holy Spirit? What makes our heart glad?

The house of the Lord is the house of relationship where we are expected have a continued and sustained relationship with God, in words and in deeds. So, it should always excite us to be in the presence of God.

In the presence of God, there is fullness of joy and at His right hand, there are pleasures for evermore. So, we need to be excited to always be in His presence. We must also note that the presence of the Lord is not just the four walls of our church or our fellowship or even our prayer centres.

The presence of God is occasioned by a heart that always longs for God, desiring to have fellowship with God all the time. And such an one must have a contrite heart. A heart that has not been lifted up to vanity. Vanity is seeking things that will never amount to anything.

Jesus therefore said “… My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.” Matthew 21:13.
Our life ought to be a life of prayer(building relationship with God), not a den of thieves(just using God to advance your OWN course in life).

God bless you with a heart that longs for God, not just the things God can do. Have a sustained relationship with God that you may enjoy unlimited limitless joy. Amen.
