Ecclesiastes 3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;…
Vs 11a He hath made every thing beautiful in his time,
Have you ever found yourself in a situation that you felt if you had done some things differently better, you wouldn’t have been in the condition that you find yourself? Have you ever felt ‘If only I had done this, if only I had done that…?”
Wishing something was done well in the past, taking thoughts till one thought led to the other and unconsciously began to wallow in the pool of regrets. And at that point, it begins to seem like God hasn’t done much in helping us.
God is the creator and determinant of time. Times and seasons are in His hands. When He created day, he also created night. He made the light and also formed the darkness. Was it because He liked darkness? No! But because He knew time wouldn’t be complete without night. He created wet season when the flowers blossom with beauty, and then the dry season, to make them wither and dry. It’s for a purpose. Does this make Him double minded? No! But all the works of His hands are balanced according to their seasons.
Our passage says: …there’s a time to cast away stones, and time to gather them together… Another version says; “a time to scatter stones” There are times in our lives when things look scattered, unarranged, unorganised, unsettled. But sometimes, God causes those scattering in our lives, so that He can begin to arrange it His own way, stone upon stone, lines upon lines, precepts upon precepts, gathering it back again in alignment to His purpose, at His own time, at His own pace, until He has built an altar, an habitation for himself with those stones, where your entire life is offered as a pleasing sacrifice unto Him. As Elijah did in 1Kings 18:31.
Don’t always let the devil make you blame yourself for things, don’t let regrets rule you. All things works together for good to them who love God and are THE CALLED according to PURPOSE.. And you can be sure that He makes all things beautiful at his time.
May God bless you as you live in the reality of His word. The devil is never in charge, God is in charge. Amen.
