John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

This scripture seems like the most popular scripture and the less paid attention to. This is the most powerful scripture and it covers all that God did to save man from destruction into salvation. Man was in the state of perishing, a state of decaying, a state of dying. It’s like a tomato that is plucked out of the stem, it may look fresh for some time, but it’s in the state of perishing. If not catered for, it will become unfit for use. Man was in that state where all he can respond to was death and so needed to be introduced to another life called ETERNAL LIFE. Man was separated from life and so, count-down to death began(that’s the need for age). Age does not factor where there is no death. Age is a product of the fallen man.

The Love of God ushered man out of that state of death(perishing) into a state of living(eternal life). Love inspired us to life. Man was restored back to life through the giving of Jesus Christ and His eventual death and resurrection. Unfortunately, many still prefer to remain in the state of death, rather than come into life.

John 5:24 Omein, omein, I say to you, that the one, hearing my dvar and having emunah in the One who sent me, has Chayyei Olam and does not come into the Mishpat Hashem, but has been transferred out of mavet (death) into Chayyim (Life). Orthodox Jewish Bible.

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. ” (John 5:24). KJV

I particularly love the term used in ‘OJB’- “transferred”. We have been transferred out of the state of death, into the state of life. Hence, we must live as such and our judgement must also be rooted in life.
God bless you. Keep reigning in life.
