“And of His fulness have all we received, and GRACE FOR GRACE.” John 1:16.
“….unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:” Eph. 4:13.
Good morning friends,
We all need to grow in grace, without which we cannot grow into the full stature of Christ. The fulness of the Lord is received as we grow from grace to grace. The higher the level of grace attained in the Lord, the more of Christ we become. One factor distinct Christ from every other person who came before Him, it was His Grace. So, we pray, The Grace of Our Lord Jesus…..
The introduction of Moses is the birthing of the law, which the scripture calls the schoolmaster. Gal. 3:24. The law was designed to show man his inability to please God by his efforts and works, hence, introduce man or bring man into Christ so that we may be justified by faith and not works.
Therefore, now that faith has come, ought we not to be free from this schoolmaster? We ought.
“For the law was given by Moses, but GRACE AND TRUTH came by Jesus Christ.” John 1:17.
We know that we were justified by Faith, we have access into Grace. Hence, as we grow in Faith, we grow in Grace. And as we grow in grace, we grow in attaining the full stature of Christ. We gradually become like Him. And that’s the original intention of God. That we may all be conformed to the image of the son of God. Rom.8:29.
The instrument that ensures that we grow in grace is THE TRUTH. As we aree tutored by the Truth and in the Truth, we become empowered to grow in grace. So, the scripture admonishes us to WALK IN THE TRUTH. Christ, by the help of the Holy Ghost tutors us in the Truth and guides us into all Truth, and as we carefully follow after the leadings of the Holy Ghost, we become SON(Image of Christ.)
When we become full of grace and Truth, we become or attain the glory of the begotten of the father.
“….(and we beheld His Glory, the glory as of the Only Begotten of the Father,) full of GRACE AND TRUTH. John 1:14.
“Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His person….” Heb. 1:3.
As we keep beholding Him with an UNVEILED FACE, the glory of the Lord is transferred to us and we will change from one level of glory to another.
Grow in Grace. God bless you.
