“For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” (Romans 6:14).

Waking up this morning, I realised to ‘commit sin’ is a choice. And this choice is not according to forceful selection, but a wilful acceptance of the life of sin. I’m not talking about an unbeliever who still carry fully the nature of sin. I’m talking about one who has been redeemed by the blood of Christ and has been delivered from the life of sin and death. Through the death and ressurection of Jesus Christ, subsequent believing in the heart and confessing with the mouth His Lordship over our life, then walking in His way and obeying His will, we have absolute victory over sin.
God has granted us a life that is above the hold of sin, but many chose darkness rather than light and that’s the main reason why there will be judgement and condemnation upon the people.
“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. ” (John 3:19).

You already have the grace to rise up above sin and live in purity unto the Lord. Always remember that you are dead to sin, but alive in Christ Jesus. Live therefore as children of light. God bless and preserve you wholly till the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
