“In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.” (Psalm 62:7).

God is my salvation:
We most times do not realise that salvation is of the Lord and it comes only from the Lord. Salvation means total safety, deliverance and complete healing.

Anytime we go through whatsoever challenge, we must realise that God is our salvation. Salvation is not anywhere. Salvation cannot come from chasing money, wealth, fame, achievements, power, or anything earthly.

Salvation(completeness- fulfilment) comes from the Lord. Except and unless you have declared the Lordship of Jesus Christ in your life both in words and in deeds, He is not yet your saviour and Lord. To experience salvation, you must totally depend on Him for daily directions.

God is my Glory:
A friend once asked the question, ‘what is glory?’ Glory relates to God’s covering as a result of His presence. Glory can also mean God’s manifold presence. That was what was covering Adam and Eve in the beginning.

They were without cloth unashamed and never knew because God’s glory was for them as a clothing. They didn’t realise their nakedness until they fell short of God’s glory, and at that point, shame and fear came in upon the discovery of their nakedness.

The only glory to seek is God. When they discovered that nakedness, they sew leaves as cloths. Such an irony, leaves can’t last long, they simply dry up with time. That’s the same thing we do most times, seeking glory(covering) from things that will soon dry up. That’s why Peter wrote that the glory of man is a fading one.

God is my Glory(covering). There is no shame and fear in the presence of God. David enjoyed that glory(God’s presence) so much that he danced naked in his palace without shame or fear. God’s glory never fails nor fade, so, arise, shine, for the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

God bless you with Salvation and Glory. The truth is in Salvation, you’ll experience Glory. Alleluia!
