“By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” (Romans 5:2).
We have established that our entire Christian walk is based and built on Faith to receive the Hope promised propelled by our Love for God and God’s Love for us. So Faith, Hope and Love are most essential concepts we must not just learn or talk about but live in on a daily basis. Also, we agreed that patience is an essential tool for the fulfilment of these three spiritual realities.
We must therefore realise that the greatest hope man has been called into is the HOPE OF the GLORY OF GOD. Man can decide to pursue lesser glory like acquisition of properties like classy cars, landed properties, golds, academic qualifications and all you can think of. Unfortunately, they all end up here on earth. The only experience that never would leave a man whether in death or in life is the amount of the glory of God experienced. Such is the call of God upon everyone who’s got Faith.
“…Christ in you, the hope of glory:” (Colossians 1:27).
Until we experience the fullness of the stature of Christ, we are not ready to enter into God’s glory. Glory as interpreted in this scripture means ‘the full manifestation of God’. And the scripture describes Jesus as “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person,…” (Hebrews 1:3).
No wonder Jesus said to the disciple, if you’ve seen me, you’ve seen the Father. By implication, if you have me residing in you, then, you have the Father residing in you. So He said, “Abide in me, and I in you…” (John 15:4).
Don’t forsake the bigger, better and more excellent glory of God to start pursuing the lesser, fading glory of this earth. They are like the flower that blossoms in the morning and fails at night. God wants to bring you into Glory, the enemy wants too bring you into Gory. Seek Christ. Seek life. Seek glory.
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Halleluya! God bless you.
