“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” (Romans 5:1).
“Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” (Romans 3:28).
No man is justified by the reason of work. No man is justified because of his discipline and struggle not to commit sin. In fact, the more you surround yourself with laws and principles that tend to make you seem holy, the more of condemnation and faithlessness you heap on yourself.
Justification is of Faith. A man is justified because faith is activated in him, and his continuance in faith brings him to perfection. We must not always forget to compare the spiritual to the spiritual or scriptures to scripture. Many atimes, we allow sentiments of the corrupt world needing help and sanctity to cloud our judgement and trust in faith. It doesn’t matter that the world(even believers) are languishing in sin, the way out is not to heap religious laws and discipline on oneself or the others(like giving laws to workers, having things you must not do….). The way forward is FAITH.
If only we can continue in faith, we will discover that soon, we will outgrow the lust and inordinate affection sown into our thoughts because we’ve learnt to ‘totally depend’ on God.
“He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.” (1 Samuel 2:9).
“But without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to PLEASE him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that DILIGENTLY seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6).
To deliver a city out of sin, we must walk the walk of faith. For a man to overcome sin, he must continue in faith. Faith in God gives us total deliverance from the hold of sin.
Note: Faith brings us into liberty. But this liberty is not a licence to commit sin. Liberty is not lawlessness. It is operating by the spirit, not yoke under the demand of the law. This liberty produces peace in us. Peace with God, not condemnation.
Halleluyah! I am blessed. I have peace with God. I am justified. God be praise.
