“Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.” (Romans 5:18).

God has blessed all those who chose to believe on the name of Jesus Christ with Justification. It is a free gift. Justification is being ‘made’ free from the guilt of the consequences of once’s sins(wrong actions).

Unfortunately, a whole lot of believers still choose to live a life filled with one condemnation or the other. Many preachers are comfortable preaching condemnation messages putting people in fear and consciousness of sin rather than teach and preach justification, reminding us of our eternal life as a result of righteousness inputted in us. Like we read yesterday, ‘there is no more condemnation whatsoever for them who are in Christ Jesus, who patterns their live after the spirit, rather than allow the lust of the flesh dictate to them how to live.’ Rom.8:1(My paraphrasing).

We must always realise that God has called us into eternal partnership of an access into eternal life by grace and peace which operates by first inputting in us righteousness. The blessing of the free gift is the life inputted with righteousness, and mind you the righteousness here is not of man but of Christ Jesus who is to us righteousness. “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

To live in condemnation is to live in the bondage of sin, serving the lust of the flesh under the control and directorship of the devil. That’s not what a Christian is saved for. We have been justified by faith…. So you must live by faith. Hence, ‘the just shall live by faith. Without faith, there is no access to GRACE and PEACE.

Confession:
I am blessed. I am justified by faith. Righteousness has been imputted in my life. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore, there is no more condemnation for me. Amen.
